My mom grew up on the Danish/German border and we have a strong licorice thing in the family. But these are actually used for medicinal purposes (haha but they're sold in the pharmacy). Another mom health hack for any type of upset stomach, stale air, car trips, take off and touch down- she has her Salmiak.
