Cantucci e Vinsanto (or Red Wine)

My dad actually does this with plain red wine instead of the customary vin santo (a sweet dessert wine). And I love it, less syrupy sweet and more of a refined after dinner treat for people who are more salt fans than sweet tooth (my dad and I)
